With little to enthuse over and more than our fair share of bad luck in the past fortnight I am hoping for some retribution tomorrow.
The 3:00 Wolverhampton sees Sekumkum who in the words of Racing Post was 'repeatedly hampered' at a critical stage in the race last time out meets the subsequent winner Progenitor. Both are open to improvement but Sekumkum shades it on my figures with the added advantage of Alan Kirby in the plate. If looking beyond these two Autumn Shadow did little wrong on its All Weather debut over 6f and looks likely to step up on that performance over 7f.
On a card with little to get your teeth in to Roy The Boy might not be as far out of his depth as it would appear in the 3:30. Returning after a winning performance over C&D last time out may give those higher rated a run for their money.
