Is Alex Hammond a good reason to open a SKY BET account?

With all the cr*p that we get in our email it is easy to overlook offers that could be to our advantage. Once in to a daily routine of looking at the sender and pressing ‘delete’ you may later feel you have taken your eye of the ball and I feel I have done just that with regards to BOG Bookmakers. Taking opening shows has made me heavily reliant on one Bookmaker, although the odd alternative BOG bookmaker throws its hat in to the ring in being first with an opening show from time to time.

It wasn’t until I received a promotional email from SKYBET that was read a little further than normal that I realised that they are now offering BOG. This prompted me to check and update my records and I found that Bet Internet are also offering BOG but not for Irish racing (Dundalk).

Although I already have a seldom used SKY BET account which was set up some time ago for those little ‘novelty value’ flutters made using the Sky remote control, I do get weekly prompts to use my free weekly £5 bet which until now has gone ignored.

It was only on reflecting on the other advantages of having a SKY BET account that I thought I would make you guys aware of its virtues.
  •        To the best of my knowledge, this is the only site that offers both ATR and Racing UK re-runs under one roof through the Sporting Life website without having to have had a bet in a race.
  •         SKY BET along with Bet365 are also the earliest to price up races. In today’s betting market place it is unwise to have all your eggs in one basket and without a doubt SKY BET is the best alternative.

  •       Add the bonus of a £5 free bet each week (£260 per year) for as long as this is sustainable for them with BOG! Let’s face it, if you can make some money betting with the Bookmakers money and not risking your own it is a no brainer.

  •      Oh and pictures of Alex Hammond all over the site (I guess that doesn't really count as a good reason but a bonus none the less)

On to today and Kempton Park!

In the 3:20 Diplomatic looks a solid choice but offers nothing by way of value and although I have no intentions of being drawn in I find the price of BOLD RING a little tempting given its previous performance over the trip.

TAUTIRA is more appealing than anything else ahead of it in the market in the 3:50 and although needing to step up on what it has achieved to date, from the form on offer that could be said of many.

It is the 5:20 that is the most interest race on the card and I have pin-pointed Kent Ragstone, Paloma’s Prince, Little Buxted and MALLORY HEIGHTS as the key protagonists. I don’t feel Kent Ragstone has done much wrong other than to have found itself in slow races and the paced here is likely to be far to its liking. How competitive it can be will be a watching brief. Paloma’s Prince has steadily declined in form and rating since winning over C&D and its profile looks not to dissimilar to the profile prior to that that victory. Little Buxted and MALLORY HEIGHTS have similar profiles with Little Buxted more lightly raced and I question whether it will have the same resolution in a battle as the selection who is a no frills horse and is likely to need to be worked on during the trip under SDS but always appears to find when asked. It is possible that taking a price in the run may be the best option.

Good Luck
