All eyes on Lingfield Park today!

With all eyes on Lingfield Park today, only joking! I thought that it would be fitting to add my two-penny worth on the Derby debate and put my slant on the question everybody and his granny are asking!

If Dawn Approach stays the mile and a half I think it will say more about the quality of opposition than the ability of the horse itself. Personal I would rather side with a horse that has already proven to stay the trip and take RULER OF THE WORLD E.W. than a skinny price on a horse whose stamina is in doubt.

Try as a might to find something from the three All Weather races at Lingfield Park this evening I have drawn a blank and will focus on the 6:25.

As much as I find Little China very appealing over today’s 5 furlong trip at 10-1 I am putting forward DANZIGER to return to winning ways after coming off the boil after a hat-trick of sprint wins in similar company.

With Richard Hughes in the plate to strengthen my convictions 11-2 looks a very agreeable price. It would come as no surprise if DANZIGER was one of a treble for Hughies on the card.
