After a lull in activity due to the abandonment of Southwell’s All Weather cards on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday saw wall to wall All Weather racing. What bliss I hear you cry!
After a tardy start to the month we went in to Wednesday’s three meetings off the back of four from five winning days where the one losing day was an insignificant -2.27 in comparison to +31.95 in profits.
The Actuary methodical processes offered up 12 selections across the three meetings and the start looked less than promising with the loss of 3 points in the first two Lingfield Park races.
A change in fortune and the next three selections guarantee another profitable day. Bay Laurel (7-1) started the ball rolling and wiped away our 3 point deficit to put us 4 points up. Next up was Tinshu (5-1) which took us to an 8 point profit and 55 minutes later, our next and only 3 point selection for the day: York Glory (advised at 7-2) took us to 18.5 points profit with 7 more selections to go.
I have to admit I love being in this position and although a lot would depend on how Kempton Park was riding, the satisfaction of securing a +10 points profit halfway through the day’s proceedings turns to greed at each failed selection, and we had to suffer a couple before the next hit.
We headed into Kempton Parks 6:00 16.5 points in profit with two selections, 1 point Harris Tweed and 2 points Media Hype (advised at 6-1) with the latter prevailing to take the days profit to +27.5 points with two selections running in Kempton Parks 6:30. Unfortunately neither selection could get their heads in front and could only fill the minor placings.
With only a handful of selections on today's evening card at Kempton we are unlikely to reach yesterdays heights but I am hopeful that we can add to the 74 points profit made so far in November.
Good Luck
