It took until the sixth selection of the day for The Actuary Horse Racing Tips subscribers to see a return for the day with Pick A Little 7-1 taking the 7:15 Southwell. With nine selections across the two meetings, one becoming a non-runner, it was a little disappointing to end a day with honours even after our recent good run.
Comparing early prices with SP’s would suggest some major disappointments for many punters with some heavily backed horses not only failing, but failing miserably. Most notably Dozy Joe 12-1 returning 10-3. It was also noticeable from the times returned at Kempton Park that the slower times may be more due to jockeys caution than the new surface mixture.
