Lightening does strike twice!

I appreciate the need to see the bigger picture and feel confident in my ability to turn a healthy profit from racing but after my article regarding Crimea and Adrian Nicholls 'Adrian Nicholls snoozes and loses' the identical scenario played out in Kempton Park's 8:20.

Again a well backed horse, The Actuary Horse Racing Tips single selection for the day Amoralist. Backed from 17-2 to 4-1 second favourite, Amoralist was drawn 9 of 12 which you would be hopeful would allow a mid division sit if breaking on terms.

William Buick puts pay to the chances of the heavily backed Amoralist

As the stalls open William Buick rocks back and takes a massive pull on Amoralist and unbalances his mount resulting in a 2 length deficit from the start. With nothing on his inside and ample opportunity to take to the rail and wait for the cut-away in the straight, Buick keeps Amoralist four horses wide for the remainder of the trip. I am talking from my pocket? A little. Am I frustrated? Extremely. Still the circus continues tomorrow!
