If you feel like that you are being held back in life financially, have you ever consider it may be YOU that is that is holding YOU back?
The complexities of Human Nature
Being a firm believer that the majority of bettors lose money due to poor temperament I frequently find myself analysing ‘Human Nature’ as much as the next day’s cards!
We live in a world of ‘instant gratification’ where many look at betting as the potential route to resolving financial burdens and each day that ‘Yankee’ ‘Canadian’ or ‘Heinz’ gives that glimmer of hope that there may be light at the end of the tunnel. I appreciate that the service I operate doesn’t pander to this forlorn hope BUT I was shocked by the recent result of offering a 7 day FREE trial of The Actuary Horse Racing Tips and the fantastic response I received. The lowest daily uptake was 28 people on one tyre kicking Sunday.
Over the duration of the offer there was only one seven day period that made a small loss and those that had subscribed over that period received an additional day which put them well in profit. At the close of the promotion I had made a profit for just short of 1,000 people culminated in ONLY 2 new customers!
If I asked you for £180 in return for £1,575.40 would you say ‘NO THANK YOU’?
Since the start of 2012 The Actuary Horse Racing Tips has made a profit of £1,575.40 to a £10 stake. This profit has cost subscribers £180. Now I appreciate this isn’t ‘GET RICH QUICK’ but that elusive chestnut may elude you for the rest of your life and cost you a lot more than £30 a month. I am simply offering a profit of varying amounts of cash each month. That little bit of extra cash that makes the difference or covers those unexpected emergencies that crops up.
If I asked you for £270 in return for £4,4106.64 would you say ‘NO THANK YOU’?
£4,106.64 is the profit The Actuary Horse Racing Tips has made to a £10 stake from the start of the All Weather season (October 2011). This profit has cost subscribers £270 and has paid for some subscribers summer holidays, house extensions and conservatories and in one case a car that a subscriber had dreamt of for some time. Obviously not from £10 stakes :)
My conclusion has to be that the vast majority that took up the offer feel that they have won by having had something for nothing for a week and failed to see the bigger picture!
