A day of disappointments with the first of our horse racing tips on the Lingfield Park card, Twenty One Choice declared a non-runner. If that wasn't disappointing enough I personally felt more aggrieved by having taken 13-2 the evening before and woke to an opening show of 7-2.
With our only remaining interest being in the 4:20 with 2 selections Delft which I had taken 3-1 (Paddy Power) and Incendiary (17-2 William Hill) I was more than disappointed that even though I had the winner, it was a race that, in my opinion Incendiary should have won. Where as Delft had been able to race prominent throughout. George Baker on Incendiary was caught out wide and at one stage appeared a little indecisive as to whether he should make his ground up wide or sit and suffer. Taking the later option did for his chances, flashing home and going down by just over 3/4 length.
