As results on the All Weather for The Actuary horse racing tips service can be a little unpredictable at this time of the year it was pleasing to report a 234.50 point profit to £10 stakes. With Speed and Class being the main contributor chipping in 316.50 points with a strike rate of 37.9%.
Trip Handicap also made a profit of 61.70 points from a 57.1% strike rate.
The Actuary and On The Money both performed disappointingly with The Actuary making a loss of 63.3 points after a sterling performance in April of 411.70 points profit. Likewise On The Money recorded a profit of 236.70 points in April but made a loss of 80.30 points for May.
Ballyheigue makes all under Shane Kelly to win by a head
There were no significant big priced winners in producing May's 234.50 points profit but for me the stand outs were Ballyheigue 8-1 and Nassau Storm 17-2. Both horses made all and held on by a head after being pressed hard in the straight. Their victories made a difference of 165 points to subscribers and is a reminder of how precarious the margin can be between profit and loss.
Nassau Storm makes all under Jim Crowley to win by a head
I think I can raise a glass or two to both Shane Kelly and Jim Crowley tonight safe in the knowledge that I should be sober by the time I need to use the old grey matter once again with no more action on the All Weather until Kempton Park's meeting on 6th June.
When we return remember the service is FREE and I will endeavour to refund your subscription (hopefully within minutes) within 24 hours of receipt. Any problems please drop me an email to theactuary@ymail.com
Enjoy the short All Weather siesta and keep your powder dry until then!
