Billberry (90) I Confess (90) Fiefdom (87)
Top three are comfortably clear of remainder. All coming back in trip after contesting 1 mile race at Lingfield which should not be a problem as all three have previously won over this trip. Only Fiefdom of these three has previously won in this class. Billberry has to be the horse with the most improvement and was eye catching LTO but is this trip to short.
3.15 WINTHROP HANDICAP (CLASS 3)(3yo+ 0-90) Winner £8,419 10 runners 5f
Lochstar (91) Chjimes (88) Peak District (87)
Again the top three well clear of the remainder and no draw advantage to speak off for any. Chjimes rating from Wolverhampton is a little plus but my hear rules my head with Lochstar being a great fan of Lochsong.

Turner’s Touch (89) Aureate (87) Waterside (85)
The title of the race tells you to stay away! A combination of Amateur Riders and Sellers is not a good combination. There is nothing to suggest the first two rated should not be the protagonists but as the early prices suggest that Turner’s will be around 12-1 should be a fair E.W. if it doesn’t try to pull itself up again when hitting the front!!

Although the first two are 6 points clear on my ratings (83) is not a figure that inspires any confidence. Both stepping up from LTO all weather. 2 of Dickie La Davoir 3 all weather wins have come over this trip. Avoca Dancer’s all weather wins have all been over 6f but won last time out over 7f on turf.

5.50 SEVENOAKS SELLING STAKES (CLASS 6)(3yo) Winner £2,047 10 runners 1m4f
First Spirit (88) Diktaram (74) Top Tinker (61)
First Spirit LTO performance is a long way clear of those other rivals that have previously raced on the surface. With its LTO rating over this course and distance. This is a marginal decision but I feel a little un-easy due to the quality of opposition in its previous race and the likely short price. If in doubt leave it out!!
6.20 NSPCC CHILD´S VOICE APPEAL HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-60) Winner £2,047 14 runners 1m2f
Free Tussy (88) Homebred Star (88) Play up Pompey (82)
Top two have a healthy margin over the rest of the field. Both drawn side by side, Free Tussy out again over the same course and distance as opposed to Homebred Star coming back in trip two furlongs. Binnion Bay (81) my fourth rated is of interest as the breeding would suggest that 10f is within its compass.

Can Can Star (91) Justcallmehandsome (90) Buddy Holly (88)
The top three rated are all changing trip from last time out. The preference would be to consider horses coming back in trip which fits the profile of only for Buddy Holly. To strengthen Buddy Holly’s claims are LTO rating is from Southwell.
6.40 ISC MAIDEN FILLIES´ STAKES (CLASS 5)(3yo+) Winner £2,590 14 runners 1m2f
M’Lady Rousseur (82) Zeyadah (67) Moojeh (64)
Of the four that have raced previously on the surface M’Lady Rousseur would be the pick but would suggest that in the seven yet to race on an all weather surface there is most likely to be something better than (82)
7.10 DIGIBET HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-85) Winner £4,727 8 runners 1m2f
Ballet Dancer (91) Sandor (91) Hallstatt (90)
Top three are tightly matched and only Hallstatt rated over this trip. I doubt this race will see any of the three equal their efforts LTO. Best left alone

Ray Of Joy (93) Seek The Fair Land (90) Satwa Street (86)
Should be an easy race to read given the top three ratings have all come from course and trip. If only racing was so simple!! Ray Of Joy has a disadvantage in respect of the draw but if the tissue is a good guide must be an solid E.W. bet. Also note that Mac’s Power has been entered in two races at the meeting. The choice of race will be interesting as my fourth rated in this with (85)
8.40 DIGIBET.COM HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-65) Winner £2,047 14 runners 2m
Jafaru (91) Calculating (85) Champagne Cocktail (82)
With the top rated all going up in trip, two of them dramatically and with no endorsement in their breeding to suggest this is an optimum trip. For me this is a race to watch only.
9.10 PANORAMIC BAR & RESTAURANT HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo+ 0-85) Winner £4,727
Street Power (90) Sweet Gale (90) Obe Royal (82)
Ratings would suggest a healthy margin between the top two and the rest of the field. Street Power has a distinct draw advantage and is going back up to its optimum trip. I view Street Power’s LTO from Wolverhampton to Kempton over this trip very favourably. I would be surprised if Mac’s Power ops for this race having been also entered in the 8:10 where it has better claims.

6.20 WEATHERBYS PRINTING APPRENTICE HANDICAP (ROUND 2) (CLASS 5)(4yo+ 0-70) Winner £2,590 14 runners 1m
Agilete (92) Teen Ager (91) Focail Eile (90)
As my speed figures suggest, a very tight contest. Of my top three Teen Ager has the best of the draw and is going over the same trip as his last time out victory. Agilete and Focail Eile are the two most likely to show improvement coming from Wolverhampton. Murrin with the best all weather winning official rating this season is likely to be in the mix. When you look at the form of my top three you may consider whether the horse box driver got lost on the way to another track. To tight for me to have an interest.
6.50 KEMPTON FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS MAIDEN AUCTION STAKES (CLASS 5)(2yo) Winner £2,590 12 runners 6f
I’Malwaysright (83) One Hit Wonder (49)
I do not mind having a wager in these types of races but would need more than a speed figure of 83 to draw me in.
7.20 DIGIBET HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-80) Winner £4,727 11 runners 6f
Seek The Fair Land (88) Cool Art (84) Trip Switch (81)
This is a little more tempting but border line. If Seek The Fair Land is 7-1 as this evenings tissues forecasts a E.W. steal for me. I particularly like horses coming back from 7F to 6f at Kempton. I think the 6f effort as a 2yo can be forgiven. Should remain nicely drawn even if there are non runners and I am more than happy to take on a jolly yet to race on the surface.
7.50 DIGIBET FILLIES´ HANDICAP (CLASS 5)(3yo 0-70) Winner £2,590 14 runners 7f
Taste Of Honey (89) Russian Rave (86) One Cool Kitty (81)
Time to switch channels and watch the football for this one! The equation of 3yo Fillies Handicap with nothing that ticks enough boxes to stimulate any interest.
8.20 DIGIBET.COM HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(4yo+ 0-85) Winner £4,727 14 runners 7f
Silaah (94) Grey Boy (93) Elisiaro (92)
Top three nicely drawn. Silaah is going up and Elisiaro coming back in trip. Not too concerned with the later but question how suitable this is for Silaah. Regardless of what the breeding suggests has already been outpaced over this trip and in this grade. One to also watch out for is Trafalgar Square (90) who has the highest all weather winning official rating this term.
8.50 RENE & BRIAN MITCHELL HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-85) Winner £4,727 7 runners 1m4f
Ostaadi (94) State General (88) Gilded Age (73)
Only three rated with all weather outings this term. Ostaadi going up in trip 1f State General and Gilded Age up 2f from their last runs. Breeding would suggest that this is the upper limit of the first two rated. Not so favourable for Gilded Age. Fazbee would have been an interesting E.W. proposition if there were 8 runners.
9.20 BOOK KEMPTON TICKETS ON 0844 579 3008 HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-55) Winner £2,047 14 runners 1m3f
Sir Haydn (93) Medieval Maiden (89) Summer Lodge (87) Everyman (87) Platoche (87)
Again, a very competitive handicap. With Medieval Maiden and Summer Lodge having the best of the draw. Interesting that Paul Doe has ridden MM 4 times and has never been out of the first 2. Maybe to short a trip for SL. No serious bets but well worth considering the first two E.W. if the price allows.
Agilete (92) Teen Ager (91) Focail Eile (90)

All Weather Horse Racing Draw Bias
Draw Bias
If you have ever attended or watched on television racing from the UK’s four All Weather tracks you will be acutely aware that each have some bias dependant on draw. Those drawn badly will need to expend a degree of energy to overcome the disadvantage to get a suitable position and tuck in or face losing lengths running five, six even seven horses deep around the sweeping bends.
Most will be aware that the degree of bias changes at each track dependant on the distance. This is usually determined by the proximity of the stalls to the first bend. Most statisticians simply look at the winning frequency of any given draw and from this determine whether it is favourable to be drawn low, middle or high.
I am a strong believer in that if the data can be investigated further to give me an advantage go and get it. The missing ingredients from above have to be ‘Number of Runners’ + ‘Non Runners’ + ‘Last time out’. As an example a horse drawn 7 in a 14 runner race and a horse that is drawn 7 in a 7 runner race in my eyes are two entirely different propositions but both drawn 7.
I appreciate that it is likely to take a lot of racing before you have established reliable percentages covering all permutations but it is important to remember that the percentages cannot be used at face value but as a guide to whether your selections chances are enhanced by that draw, whether its chance is not hindered by the draw or whether it is in the coffin box.
We will never be able to ascertain the quality and level of fitness of every horse that ran from stall 5 over 6f at Lingfield but, if you have good percentages for stall 4 and stall 6, the fact that stall 5 is 0% should not deter you. Eventually when you have enough data it will become clear where the bias lies and where the percentages drop.
The next consideration ‘Non Runners’ is the nuisance factor. This is where we have to look at the race retrospectively as for the purpose of your stats a ‘Non-Runner’ and a ‘Withdrawn’ horse are completely different. If a horse is declared a non-runner and does not go down to the start its box is not numbered and stalls are numbered for the remainder of horses. So, we have a 14 runner field. The horses drawn 5, 8 and 10 are non runners. The stalls handlers number the stalls 1,2,3,4,6,7,9,11 and 12 with no empty boxes. In affect those horses drawn above 5 will all be drawn differently than your racing press report further still the results will still reflect the wrong draws. The affect is quiet dramatic when you consider 6 is now in 5, 7 is now in 6, 9 is now in 7, 11 is now in 8 potentially a completely different proposition.
So what of withdrawn horses? In our same race if the horse drawn 3 bolts at the start and is withdrawn there will be an empty stall 3 so nothing changes!
Having emphasised the importance of the draw and keeping accurate records is not only for its relevance in the race at hand but in the form line of the horses previous race(s). Not only from the perspective of horses producing poor figures from bad draws but horses previous performances that have been enhanced by a good draw.

7TH JUNE 2009 SOUTHWELL
2.10 BILL, ANNE BRIMSTED´S RUBY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MAIDEN AUCTION FILLIES´ STAKES (CLASS 5)(2yo) Winner £2,730 8 runners 5f
London Girl (57) China Bay (48)
The ratings of the two with AW outings would suggest they are not good enough to win this.
2.40 SAM BOLDY MEMORIAL HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(3yo 0-65) Winner £2,047 10 runners 1m4f
Lucky Punt (94) Amazing Blue Sky (89) Mekong Miss (87)
To many negatives for the top rated to consider a bet. All three top rated up in trip. Best watched.
3.10 SHANE W DARBY MEMORIAL CLAIMING STAKES (CLASS 5)(3yo+) Winner £2,730 10 runners 1m4f
Edas (95) Wind Flow (90) Aureate (89) Realism (89)
As in the 3.10 top rated going up in trip and with Wind Flow and Aureate both having won in better company already this term.
3.40 BETDAQ.CO.UK SELLING STAKES (CLASS 6)(3yo) Winner £2,047 12 runners 7f
Iron Out (82) Paymaster In Chief (80) Cognac Boy (79)
The ratings would suggest this is a race best left alone as it appears to be a case of who ever falls over line first.
4.10 JACKSONS WORKWEAR RENTAL HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-60) Winner £2,047 14 runners 6f
Kingsmaite (91) Outer Hebrides (89) Blakeshall Quest (78)
Top two way in front on LTO. Kingsmaite has my pick of the draw but again preference to keeping my money in my pocket.
4.40 BET MULTIPLES-BETDAQ HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-60) Winner £2,047 14 runners 1m
Haroldini (88) Ermine Grey (85) Ten Pole Tudor (83)
Haroldini going up in trip from LTO. Ermine Grey coming back in trip. Ten Pole Tudor coming back in trip creates a cunudrum I can not answer. Do not want to answer. I would favour Ermine Grey based purely on the transition LTO FROM Kempton.

6TH JUNE 2009 LINGFIELD
5.50 COWDEN SELLING STAKES (CLASS 6)(3yo+) Winner £2,047 13 runners 1m4f
Rawdon(89) Clipperdown (88) Mystic Art (86)
Everything appears favourable for Rawdon. Top rated, well drawn, best form this season and the speed figure was produced LTO over this trip at Southwell. Lingfield is a much easier proposition. That said Rawdon has a bad habit of hitting the front and putting the brakes on. If the horses name was any other than Rawdon I would be on but my money will be staying in my pocket.
6.20 BET API - BETDAQ HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(3yo 0-60) Winner £2,047 14 runners 1m2f
Calling Victory (89) Good Buy Dubai (86) L’Arco Baleno (73)
The first two in my ratings appear so far ahead it would indicate a 2 horse race, but Caught On Camera, Clear Hand, Native Dame and Winterbrook King yet to run on the AWT this season could potential offer stiffer opposition when the ratings are so moderate.
6.50 HARTFIELD MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 5)(3yo) Winner £2,730 12 runners 1m
El Loco Uno (82) Mared (82) Gaselee (75)
Similar make up to the 6.20 with the top 2 ratings a poor recommendation but with 8 unrated horses this term in opposition, I would stick my pin in one of them!

Lowlay.com update
Lowlay.com are going from strength to strength. Greed has made me reflect on wishing I was not so sceptical at the outset. I can not remember the last time I had 16 winning selections in a row.
If I had started at the outset I would have £3,665 in the bank. Little white lie there as I am using double stakes so in fact would be £7,330. Thats this years holiday taken care of with some to spare.
Sincerely, get on board now. The current price of £35.00 has got to go up. We are talking about little more than the cost of a loaf of bread here at £1.20 a day. 100% so far for June. As resession bites here in the UK if you need to suplement your income and you want to take a look just click on the links in the text for Lowlay.com

Horse Racing Tips, Review of Lowlay.Com
Lowlay.com Review - 76% Strike Rate
While I was surfing the internet the other day I trip across this article ‘how to make money from sport’ which included a horse racing article singing the praises of Lowlay.com which is a lay tips service. Lowlay.com has been proofing there selections to Racing-Index to Betfair SP since 20th January 2009 and have a 75.81% Strike rate on lay to lose bets.
If you have certain ethics as I have I am not 100% comfortable on laying horses to lose but ethics have gone out the window. I NEED TO MAKE MONEY and as profitable tipping service goes this looks as good as it gets. My only alternative way of making this much money fast would be to sell all my girlfriends shoes on Ebay as that would appear to be where all my money must be going. I know what you are thinking, ‘whats this got to do with horse racing, just make her wear the same pair more than once’.
I have taken a good look at their site before my purchase, here you can see a full history of bets struct and I was very impressed! Their details are below if you want to take a look.
Why Lowlay.com? Here To Provide You With Profits From Horse Racing, With Laying One Short Priced Horse Every Day.You will be sent all tips around 11.30am every morning, with recommended maximum odds to take of 4.5 on the exchanges.Lowlay is a level stakes service.Advised betting bank required is 25 points.
Lowlay.com aim here is to help punters increase their betting banks by making best use of our expert horse racing knowledge.
For the money they can make you, £35.00 is a good investment if you need money fast. You can even pay through PayPal. Even I can afford this at less than £1.20 a day!!
As a spectacle ‘All Weather Horse Racing’ is probably the least attractive form of Horse Racing available. The main reason I have been drawn to it is that as a ‘Speed Handicapper’ there are angles to exploit and variables that have less impact or can be completely ignored when compared to other forms of UK Horse Racing. There are also new variables to consider, but variables that are far easier to measure and assess.
There are currently four active UK Horse Racing All Weather Tracks at Kempton, Lingfield, Southwell and Wolverhampton. Great Leighs is currently in the hands of the administrators and for a short while made a fifth venue, its future at present is uncertain.
From my earliest years involved in Horse Racing I have always had most success when adopting a methodical or systematic approach rather than the scatter gun tactic adopted by most bettors. I do not have or use a Horse Raceing System nor am I an advocate of systems. My selection process is governed by what I believe to be a set of rules that can be backed up statistically as successful and to the surprise of most of my peers I am not a gambler by nature. This in my opinion gives me the ideal temperament as I have no compulsion to gamble regardless of the amount of study and hard work I put in. Horse Racing is my crossword puzzle and a intellectual challenge and to find a horse that goes under the radar by bookmaker and punter alike is my reward. This is not to say that I am only looking for ‘Snow in the Sahara’.
Speed Figures or Speed Handicapping over the past 50 years has become so sophisticated and so widely respected odds are compiled around them. The success of Andrew Beyer in the USA has caused the odds on his top rated to deteriorate from a profit to a loss if backed blindly.
In this Blog I am hoping to give you some tips most pundits rarely consider and angles that even the shrewdest bookmakers rarely give any consideration to. Not just an endless stream of selections but an insight in to the process and how I have accumulated my data. If I was to follow any tipster I would like to know his thought processes in arriving at his or her conclusion. It is only when you share those opinions that you could give credence to that selection. The obvious advantage I have is that unlike tipsters in the media I have the advantage of not having to make a selection for every race. I can select and play based upon when I feel the odds are in my favour.
Betting has never been easier with online betting giving us a view of the odds of every bookmaker and exchange at the click of a mouse. Form and information can be gathered in seconds and manipulated in whatever way you like, in spreadsheets and databases. It has never been easier to investigate and explore the form-line of a horse, calculate ratings and give yourself an informed view of any race being run in the UK or abroad. What you do with this information is the key to your success. What is relevant and what is irrelevant we will discover in this Blog.

2.30 TETLEY BITTER AMATEUR RIDERS´ SELLING STAKES (CLASS 6)(4yo+) Winner £1,978 12 runners 1m4f50y
3.00 BETDAQ POKER HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(3yo+ 0-60) Winner £2,388 12 runners 7f32y
Avoca Dancer (83) Dickie La Davoir (83) Convallaria (77) Loyal Royal (77) Prince Golan (77)
3.30 TRY BETDAQ FOR AN EXCHANGE CLAIMING STAKES (CLASS 5)(3yo) Winner £2,914 13 runners 5f216y
Swiss Art (93) Capo Regime (92) Belated Silver (88)

7.10 DIGIBET HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-85) Winner £4,727 8 runners 1m2f

Should be an easy race to read given the top three ratings have all come from course and trip. If only racing was so simple!! Ray Of Joy has a disadvantage in respect of the draw but if the tissue is a good guide must be an solid E.W. bet. Also note that Mac’s Power has been entered in two races at the meeting. The choice of race will be interesting as my fourth rated in this with (85)

All Weather Horse Racing 7TH JUNE 2009 SOUTHWELL

Horse Racing Tips
