All Weather Horse Racing 10TH JUNE 2009 KEMPTON

6.20 WEATHERBYS PRINTING APPRENTICE HANDICAP (ROUND 2) (CLASS 5)(4yo+ 0-70) Winner £2,590 14 runners 1m

Agilete (92) Teen Ager (91) Focail Eile (90)

As my speed figures suggest, a very tight contest. Of my top three Teen Ager has the best of the draw and is going over the same trip as his last time out victory. Agilete and Focail Eile are the two most likely to show improvement coming from Wolverhampton. Murrin with the best all weather winning official rating this season is likely to be in the mix. When you look at the form of my top three you may consider whether the horse box driver got lost on the way to another track. To tight for me to have an interest.

6.50 KEMPTON FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS MAIDEN AUCTION STAKES (CLASS 5)(2yo) Winner £2,590 12 runners 6f

I’Malwaysright (83) One Hit Wonder (49)

I do not mind having a wager in these types of races but would need more than a speed figure of 83 to draw me in.

7.20 DIGIBET HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-80) Winner £4,727 11 runners 6f

Seek The Fair Land (88) Cool Art (84) Trip Switch (81)

This is a little more tempting but border line. If Seek The Fair Land is 7-1 as this evenings tissues forecasts a E.W. steal for me. I particularly like horses coming back from 7F to 6f at Kempton. I think the 6f effort as a 2yo can be forgiven. Should remain nicely drawn even if there are non runners and I am more than happy to take on a jolly yet to race on the surface.

7.50 DIGIBET FILLIES´ HANDICAP (CLASS 5)(3yo 0-70) Winner £2,590 14 runners 7f

Taste Of Honey (89) Russian Rave (86) One Cool Kitty (81)

Time to switch channels and watch the football for this one! The equation of 3yo Fillies Handicap with nothing that ticks enough boxes to stimulate any interest.

8.20 DIGIBET.COM HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(4yo+ 0-85) Winner £4,727 14 runners 7f

Silaah (94) Grey Boy (93) Elisiaro (92)

Top three nicely drawn. Silaah is going up and Elisiaro coming back in trip. Not too concerned with the later but question how suitable this is for Silaah. Regardless of what the breeding suggests has already been outpaced over this trip and in this grade. One to also watch out for is Trafalgar Square (90) who has the highest all weather winning official rating this term.

8.50 RENE & BRIAN MITCHELL HANDICAP (CLASS 4)(3yo 0-85) Winner £4,727 7 runners 1m4f

Ostaadi (94) State General (88) Gilded Age (73)

Only three rated with all weather outings this term. Ostaadi going up in trip 1f State General and Gilded Age up 2f from their last runs. Breeding would suggest that this is the upper limit of the first two rated. Not so favourable for Gilded Age. Fazbee would have been an interesting E.W. proposition if there were 8 runners.

9.20 BOOK KEMPTON TICKETS ON 0844 579 3008 HANDICAP (CLASS 6)(4yo+ 0-55) Winner £2,047 14 runners 1m3f

Sir Haydn (93) Medieval Maiden (89) Summer Lodge (87) Everyman (87) Platoche (87)

Again, a very competitive handicap. With Medieval Maiden and Summer Lodge having the best of the draw. Interesting that Paul Doe has ridden MM 4 times and has never been out of the first 2. Maybe to short a trip for SL. No serious bets but well worth considering the first two E.W. if the price allows.
