Horse Racing Tips: Lenny, nothing short of phenomenal!

Firstly let me qualify the title as they are not my words but a quote from a subscriber to The Maria's. 


It is always pleasing to receive this kind of feedback and although we should be placing 4 points already on any horse that qualifies through all 4 methods, it always helps in that psychological battle we fight when placing a bet especially after a loss if we we are aware that there was 85% chance of it winning. . 


I am sure there are many layers out there that would be satisfied with an 85% strike rate. Well, it would appear we have an 85% strike rate and we are backers!


When I confirmed JF's statistics below, I suggested that with such a strike rate we could capitalise by laying the rest of the field but I am not sure there would be many that would have the stomach for that!   


Also, for those that have a preference to be a little more selective with their bets, I am sure that a strike rate of 85% when backing a horse to win is ample reward for your patience!

OK, we have been here before and as much as I love the idea of a 'bot' that I can leave running so that when I get home from a leisurely day I have more cash stashed in my account for tomorrow's leisurely day. Horse Racing Tips: Kempton Park Bias

I am sure that followers of the figures have been disappointed with our performance at Kempton Park in the past month. Even during a successful October we have seen some strange results from the track. Although we will not be back there until 9th November it may be wise to show some consideration to following shift in the draw bias.

The figures below are draw percentages: on the left the 3 year trend and to the right the results from 1st October 2011 both the inner loop (5f & 10f).and the outer loop.

On a track which has previously exhibited a fairly even opportunity regardless of draw, the track is currently exhibiting a major shift to the low numbers. Although it would not make sense to change the selection methods based upon this information, it is a significant enough shift to require continued monitoring and gives you the opportunity to exercise caution if that is your preference.
