Todays 'Profile' horse and noticeable jockey change in the Wolverhampton opener

As the Cheltenham roar fades in to the distance we return to bread and butter racing today and a very moderate card at Wolverhampton. As we run through the card the runners become fewer and I wonder after the likely smattering of non-runners what we will be left with.

Noticeable in the first race is that the hard to win with Outbid sees Joey Haynes in the plate with Luke Morris, the jockey on board on its LTO win taking the ride on Diamond Vine. If like me, you see weight as largely irrelevant and the OR as the determining factor in what company a horse keeps, the attempt to reduce the 6lb penalty with a 5lb claimer is no substitute for the tenacity of Morris.

The first week of providing horses that have the desirable profile for today’s engagement coupled with a high speed figure has produced our fair share of winners along with a couple of placed horses. What has been lacking are prices to get the bank really rolling.

Today is no exception, due to the small fields we have one horses of merit after Rafaaf was pulled from the last race reducing the field to three. If you would like the short priced profile horse for today enter your email below and the horse is yours. If you have already signed up for access simply go to the usual place ;)

Good luck
