They are likely to place Oratorio’s Joy at the head of the
market in Lingfield Park 1:30 by virtue of its LTO win that came over 9.5
furlongs at Wolverhampton and I see this as a different proposition. SINGZAK is
likely to need every inch of Lingfield’s 12 furlongs and Graham Gibbons
retaining the ride boosts my confidence for a big run.
The 2:00 is a tough race to unpick with TIDENTIME, Emkanaat
and Kuanyao excelling over this trip with TIDENTIME given the nod purely on
price at 18’s making it a good EW proposition.
Sounding more like a NH horse than a horse competing for a
6f sprint but LANCELOT DU LAC in the 2:30 continues to impress on this surface
and over this trip. Forest Edge is also progressing at a rate of knots but will
need to improve again to take this.
The 3:00 appears on times as a race between KEENE, SPECIAL
MIX and IF I WERE A BOY. KEENE is 5-2 whereas SPECIAL MIX and IF I WERE A BOY
trade at 10-1. I am happy to take all three at level stakes in the hope that
one of the latter pair strike.
JALINGO set a reasonable enough standard in Kempton Park’s
5:10 and if the price is big enough I will happily take some.
Mr Burbidge has gone from 54 to 70 in winning its last 3
races and I believe that streak ends here in the 6:10 by the hand of
SPIRITOFTOMINTOUL who we are yet to see the bottom of. As commendable as Clerks
Choice LTO run was in its 2 length never nearer defeat to Pressburg this is ½
mile further and I would like to see it get the trip before it carried my
money.
The Kempton Park finale looks a messy affair with Perfect
Haven and Magical Rose having attained the best standard. I will be happier
with a little EW on MY GIGI at 12-1. Back over a trip that saw a comfortable
success before an abysmal effort over 1 mile that suggested something was amiss
based upon passed efforts.
It isn’t until the 8:50 at Dundalk that the meeting poses
any interests and JUARA’s win last time out looked a clever ride and the
winning margin doesn’t do justice to the victory. JUARA may have a lot more up
its sleeve.
In the 9:20 TEAJAYBE (14-1) returns to the distance where it
was beaten only a neck in to second by on its penultimate start and this
company looks a tad weaker. 14-1 looks good value for an EW play.
Have fun :)
