Counting down to Wolverhampton this evening. Three, Two, One!

First things first, apologies for the lack of input recently but there has been some 'Blogger' issue which have caused problems to BAU that I simply didn't have time to resolved due to me fire-fighting to prepare Dundalk. Unfortunately the database I was provided for Dundalk had several, shall we call them 'anomalies'! The issues I have found have been corrected but I am extremely dubious as to whether I have found them all.

On the subject of Dundalk, I have to say I wasn't overly pleased with the performance of the figures last night but with so many unrated winners I am prepared to reserve judgement.

With only one selection on Wolverhampton's card last night we were subjected to a Burren View Lady / Honey Of A Kitten type run from our selection CATERINA DE MEDICI who drifted out to 8-1 and only just failed to collar the new comer Silent Movie. Tom McLaughlin got caught in a pocket on CATERINA DE MEDICI with the only out being to follow the subsequent winner. Unfortunately the ground lost was pivotal in the loss as the selection went down by a diminishing neck.

What promised to be an interesting card this evening at Wolverhampton has now been marred by notable absentees. Starting the day with three subscriber selections, we know find ourselves down to just one. Most notable was the withdraw of JAZZY LADY who was advised at 16-1, drifting to 20-1 with most bookmakers prior to withdraw with the exception of William Hill who opened at 9-1 and remained rigid at the price! RAINBOW BEAUTY's withdraw took us down to just the one selection.

With the ground at the course as it currently is, I will be happy to watch the one race of concern and then turn my back on the remainder of the meeting. Hopefully this will give me time to answer the growing list of unanswered emails caused by the Dundalk prep. ;)
