Opening 14-1 winner turns Friday 13th into Good Friday!

As a superstitious person I always go into Friday 13th's with a degree of pessimism. Having finalize subscribers selections on Thursday evening I couldn't help but feel that it wasn't going to be our day with several big prices coming out of the methodical selection process.

Friday morning, buoyed by one of the selection halving in price and the one shorter priced selection also showing positive movement in the market, I was prepared to forfeit any losses on the first race where we were doubled handed with a 14-1 and 33-1.

Superstition and pessimism went out the window as our 14-1 selection PRECISION STRIKE not only won the opener with consummated ease under Connor Beasely, we also had the benefit of our 2 point selection LIMEGROVE drifting a quarter of a point from its opening show before taking the prize in the Wolverhampton 7:00. Surely this was Good Friday!

With only the one 50-1 selection today at Kempton Park for subscribers and the focus of the day being at Doncaster, I thought I would share a link to my sons blog which covers his synopsis of the Doncaster meeting. Odd that he concentrates his efforts on the top end racing whereas as I am in the basement :) To read Carl's Doncaster synopsis CLICK HERE.
