With a row of placed efforts already to its name in Maiden
company over today’s trip it may look like Paul Coles bay colt is destined for mediocrity.
On their reappearance, among the horses that have beaten the
selection we find Justice Day 2nd by ¾ lengths in a 8k Ascot Class
2, Steventon Star 1st in a Windsor 2k Maiden and Fig Roll 1st
in a 7k Salisbury Class 3 Conditions race.
Its previous three runs have all been in class 4 and dropped
in to Class 5 today with Jamie Spencer aboard I feel that MERITOCRACY will take all the beating in Kempton Parks
opener at 2:15.
There seems to be very little to enthuse over from the
performances of its 4 rivals who have all had just one outing in today’s grade whereas
MERITOCRACY’s best performance came here over the Kempton Park 5 Furlongs so no
surprise to see it back.
