In a race that appears to be full of square pegs in round
holes with only two of the protagonist having raced over today’s trip, and only
one of those two horses appear to bred for the trip, it is easy to find MISS
TIGER LILY a very appealing proposition in the Kempton Park 2:40.
If further endorsement is required we need to look no
further back than MISS TIGER LILY’s last outing where after leading the field
from a wide draw, she was passed by the eventual winner Inessa Armand in the
final furlong but didn't fade tamely away but battled back to within a head.
With the rest of the field of 8 on that occasion strung out
over 20 lengths back to front, I would suggest that this was a gutsy
performance.
Today, competing against seven relatively unexposed 3yo’s I
would exercise caution in my bet size but I can see no Inessa Armand’s in this
race!
