2 seconds confirm an 80 points profit for November

A slight feeling of writing the script for yesterday!

It seemed rational that 2 x 2 point selections should finish second and fulfil my prediction that we would complete the month with an 80 point profit.

Windforpower_3-1

Marmot Bay (left) and Windforpower (right) duel to the line

Once again the key protagonists Marmot Bay and Windforpower (3-1), duelled up the home straight in a repeat of 6 days ago, with the latter and our selection just for a fleeting moment (captured above), looking like grinding out the result after the former elected to lead. Unfortunately Marmot Bay dug deep and found a little more to win by a neck.

I did have some reservations on our next selection Vimiero (5-1) being able to get the better of Thecornishcockney based upon its proximity to Mutual Regard in its previous two starts.

Seeing what I perceived to be the danger fall out the stalls gave a boost to confidence, only for the pace to become pedestrian and the tardy start easily overcome. It would be fair to say that the winner Thecornishcockney’s turn off foot was the determining factor coupled with the limp-wristed ride from George Baker on Vimiero which determined the margin.

We head in to December with a poor card at Wolverhampton where I found little to excite but we have 1 x 1 point selection and 1 x 2 point selections for subscribers to cut their December teeth on.
