In my attempt over the past couple of days of previewing the days All Weather card I have felt like I am walking on eggshells a little as I attempt NOT to focus on horse put up for selection to paying subscribers.
Baltis Sister just fails to hold Jay Bee Blue over C&D
I now think it time to share something of real value on this page that is largely ignored but has given a constant stream of winners for months that I call 'Pace and Going'. I don't want to go in to the intricacies of the method except to say that it is aptly named. These figures have been posted to the subscribers blog for around 6 months but are rarely mention in dispatches and would guess that most look no further than the my speed figures that also reside within.
There will be times that these selection conflict with subscribers selections and times when they will endorse them. There are also times when we are looking at several horses in the same race. Yesterday as an example I highlighted for subscribers 7:10 Tempest Fugit, 7:40 Azrag, Gucci D'Oro, Tusculum, 8:10 Pearl Mix, Talwar. This gave two winners, one horse beaten a short head from the three races. Just to manage your expectations, the previous day offered 6:15 Royal Prize, 6:45 Dr Houseman, 7:45 Naalatt, 8:15 Whimsical. Only the one winner with the other three making the frame, so not a licence to print money but hopefully provide you with a good evenings entertainment. I guess that's enough of the preamble, lets get down to business and look at today's picks.
5:30 Ryedale Valley 8-1 Ignoring the last time out turf run under claimer Declan Canon, Ryedale Valley put up a good performance staying on and was hampered slightly during the closing stages here over 6f. That performance and breeding would suggest this 7f 32y trip will be more to its likening and Duran Fentiman is back in the saddle.
8:00 Baltis Sister 9-2 Already a winner here over 6f was stepped up to 7f last time out and show a good turn of foot to take up the running as they turned for home but was just caught by Jay Bee Blue in the final strides.
Good luck
