Horse Racing Tips: Lingfield Park

LINGFIELD Park will be hosting its annual event where every household in Lingfield, Dormansland, Felcourt and Crowhurst will be welcomed into the Racecourse Road venue.as a thank you for residents on May 26th 2012.
In mid-April, households will receive a letter asking them to collect their four free tickets for the event. This is the first evening race meeting of the Lingfield Park summer programme and has a countryside theme, featuring family entertainment from local hunts and their hounds, birds of prey, terrier-racing and enchanting comedy from the Indian Runner ducks of the Quack Pack.

A charity race will be run on the track before the professionals take over to ride in the first of six races at around 6pm. Managing director Paul Shrimpton said: "I'm delighted to welcome the local community to this evening. Last year's event was hugely popular and we hope with added entertainment that this year we'll see the same level of support. All entertainment on-course is free to enjoy, making it a great evening out for all the family."
This event replaces all-year-round tickets residents could apply for in 2010.
