Stand Guard made it three out of three for 'The Marias' in July following on from Snow Magic and Golden Creek. Backed down to as low as 5-4 from 5-2 during the day drifted all the way back out due to sustained support for Viewing and Carlton Scroop before the off.
Stand Guards win took the strike rate for 'The Marias' to 69% since October 2010 with a staggering 31 winners from 45 selections. Given the early market move in which 'The Actuary' selection played a part there is no doubt there will be only a limited number of subscriptions available come the start of the All Weather season.
