The Actuary - Horse Racing Tips

There seems to be a flurry of emails surrounding yesterday’s selections from my tipping services centring on the same topics which would be easier cleared up through the blog rather than individual emails.

Below, is the email sent out the previous evening:

Good evening Guys,
The selections for Friday 21st January are as follows:
Trip Handicap

On The Money
Cape Melody LING 12:55
Mashdood LING 01:25

Pineapple Pete LING 02:30

Good Luck and thank you for your support and subscriptions

Firstly to cover the staking queries the day’s bets equate to:

Advertisement 3 points
('Trip Handicap'+'On The Money',+'The Actuary' = 3 points)
Cape Melody 2 points
Pineapple Pete 2 points
Mashdood 1 point

I am not sure how confusion has arisen but NO method has precedence over the other. There may also be times when the selections for ‘Trip Handicap’ differ from those on the other 2 services.

• Advertisement LING 4:15 took the strike rate for horses selected by all three methods up to 76% since 1st October with 17 winners from 21 selections! If you would have not signed up and would like to use the subscribe button below

Regarding the prices (as suggested by PC), if there are any prices advertised at the time of posting I will put them beside the selection.

It is evident that few got the 6-1 available the evening before. Personally I took 6-1 at 20:35 20-01-2011 with William Hill (generally 5-1) and topped up at 11-2 9:03 a.m. 21-01-2011 again with William Hill.

This was prior to the two defections so there was a rule 4 deduction leaving me with odds of 4.48/1 in real terms. I personally use Oddschecker and have an account with all bookmakers offering a ‘Best Odds Guarantee’ but would suggest a BET365 account is a must as they are always the first upon the boards.
